Appointments

The Practice offers 10 minute face to face GP consultations –  15 minute face to face consultations with the Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP) and 15 minute consultations with the Practice Nurses.

We will also support your choice of referrals to other primary care and hospital care services for treatment or investigations.

Please note. During the 30 minutes before closing, patients will be assessed but might be referred to their GP, Out-of-Hours GP or the A&E at Whiston Hospital or Warrington General Hospital.

Extended Hours

We have some fantastic news to share with you all! The practice has now signed up to the extended hours direct enhanced service with the CCG. What does this mean?

The amount of the extended hours access is linked to the practice’s registered list size. The minimum required extra opening for each practice is based on an additional 30 minutes per 1,000 registered patients.

Named GP

You will be allocated a named GP but you will be able to book appointments with any available clinician who is suitable to treat your problem.

Practice Nurses

Nurses based at our practice treat patients for a wide range of common conditions (e.g. minor injuries/illnesses, removing stitches, travel vaccinations, immunisations and so on).

Our practice nurses are also specially trained to run routine clinics for certain conditions, such as diabetes and heart disease – each of our nurses specialises in a different area, so you need to book ahead with the most appropriate person. Our reception staff will be able to advise whether a nurse appointment is appropriate.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
